Stretch out the summer with water temperatures of 21°C and average swell consistency of 69%. We will have up to 10 sessions of surf practice, surf theory, a chance to visit amazing cultural sites & social nights!
Schedule
(Subject to changes in line with swell)
DAY 1
SUNDAY. We will start this trip from our collection point in SEVILLA airport. We will be there at 20:55h. time of the arrival from Edinburgh flight number FR6760.
You are free to arrive by different means and be collected then & there. Alternatively we could collect you from San Fernando Train Station on our way back around 22:45h.
We will head to the accommodation from there.
DAY 2
MONDAY. Morning surf session.
Afternoon surf session.
Free time evening.
DAY 3
TUESDAY. Morning surf session.
Afternoon surf session.
Free time evening.
DAY 4
WEDNESDAY. Morning surf session or visit to Montenmedio Open Air Museum.
Afternoon surf session.
Free time evening.
DAY 5
THURSDAY. We have planned a morning & afternoon surf sessions at a choice of spots.
After, we will travel to the local white cliff top village of Vejer de la Frontera for a walk , viewing of the sunset from the lovely town & enjoy dinner at a lovely, El Califa restaurant (optional).
DAY 6
FRIDAY. Free time in the morning.
Afternoon surf session.
We will finish the day with sunset contemplation and going out for a drink.
DAY 7
SATURDAY. Lay day. Free time to do your own plans and adventures.
DAY 8
SUNDAY. Potential for two surf sessions.
Leave for Sevilla airport around 17h. heading to the airport on time for departure on flight to Edinburgh FR6761 departure at 21:30h.
ACCOMMODATION:
These are examples of accommodation we have used in the past, in different locations (north and south Spain). You will get a twin room to share with one other person (of same sex unless requested otherwise), occasionally a room for three friends (in specific locations) or a room of your own for an extra fee if you prefer. We usually have a communal shared area, access to kitchen and a garden/ patio...Sometimes even a pool!
Coaching
We tailor our coaching to your ability and level.
Our experienced team of instructors, have Surf Lifesaving GB (SLSGB) lifeguard, International Surfing Association (ISA) or Academy of Surf Instructor (ASI) Surf and/or SUP qualifications, and full disclosures.. We have insurance for all the water sports we teach.
As well as beach coaching and training we provide you with theory classes and video analysis.
Don’t worry if you are just starting, we will look for the best location for your level, that’s why we keep our ratio of instructors to students small, we really want you to have a more personalised coaching experience!
Food
On certain trips it may be possible to book breakfast, lunch or dinner with Delia for an extra fee (TBC).
In the morning expect porridge, granola, yogurt, fruit salads, pancakes, scrambled eggs, dips & smoothies…that sort of thing…healthy and tasty, nutritionally dense start of the day…the best fuel for the surfing ahead. Often, depending on surf conditions for the day, lunch will be on the go.
Packed lunches will consist of sandwiches, dip platters, salad boxes etc.
At dinner time, there will also be the option to eat out some days, or at the accommodation.
The offer of restaurants is wide and we’ll be able to give you recommendations. We would recommend to allow from around €15 min. per night to eat out.
Remember!
You will need to get your own travel & health insurance!
The weather can play up and we are unable to guarantee waves & sun. We have a handful of surf alternative sports & activities but don’t forget to pack sun protection, shades and a jumper!
Remember to let us know about any medical conditions prior to your trip.
Payment of the deposit is necessary to book your space, but we don’t recommend buying your flight until we have the numbers for a group and give you the go ahead.
