Simplemente, nos gustaría que tuvieras el tipo de aventura de surf que nos gustaría tener a nosotros, por lo que organizamos un combo de clases de surf, tiempo para relajarte, visitas culturales y la oportunidad de conocer gente nueva. Operamos de una manera pequeña e intentamos hacerlo lo mas sostenible posible, siendo respetuosos con el lugar que visitamos, las culturas locales y cooperando con el surf local.

Why us?
After years of experience, we have come up with what we think is a winner recipe for a great surf adventure...
If you come with us you can rest assured that you will be in a small group, with enthusiastic, professional and very experienced instructors (ISA surf & beach lifeguard) who will give you individually tailored feedback.
We will look after you in high standard accommodation, with lots of extras included (equipment, video analysis, breakfast, tourist visits, alternative activities, free car lifts...see price section below for full details).
Simply put, we take care of all the hassle of the trip, leaving for you just the enjoyable part!
Who is it for?
For free spirited people, sea lovers wishing to discover inspiring places, escape the dark winter months, develop surf skills, get stoked, recharge, discover Spanish natural landscapes, try amazing food or meet likeminded folk!
Whatever your level, we will take you to the most apt wave locations for you. And if the weather plays up, we are prepared with alternative activities...bodyboard, SUP, skate, mountain bike, trekking, wind sports...or just chilling...
When?
Autumn, Winter & Spring. These are the best seasons for waves in Spain. Check exact dates in the trips section.
Where?
Our current destinations are Costa de la Luz (South Spain, Cádiz province) and Asturias & Cantabria (North of Spain).
What is included in the price?
Fully qualified surf instruction & guidance, third party insurance, licensed accommodation*, equipment, breakfast & lunches.
Transport is free. We offer this, as a courtesy service: it is optional. You can use your own transport if it is your preference. Free transport includes airport pick up & drop off, (meeting point- see specific trip schedules),transport to surf spots, scheduled excursions.
*(sharing bedroom between 2 people)
NOT INCLUDED: Transport to Spain (flight, train, boat, etc), personal travel insurance, dinners, drinks, social outings & entrance tickets to events.
We supplement with alternative optional activities in adverse surf conditions, prices as follows:
- SUP lessons free
- Surf Skate lesson, free
- Bodyboard/ bodysurf lesson, free
- Kayak adventure day trip, 20 euros
- Mountain bike adventure day trip, 20 euros
- Windsurf/ Kite surf lesson, 40 euros
What about sustainability?
Our aim is to compensate our environmental impact by donating some of our profits to Social & Reforestation Projects.
We have donated to Trees for Life (Scotland) and Tree Aid in the past and we are looking forward to supporting IROKO. To find out more about Iroko, visit them on https://iroko.org.es/
We encourage everyone to offset when they can and if you have extra time and funds consider travelling to Spain by alternative means other to flying.
How do you book?
You can book a trip by filling the form in section BOOK NOW>
We will send you the details of the trip and all the information and you will need to pay a deposit to reserve your space.
IMPORTANT!
DO NOT buy your transport to Spain until we confirm with you that we have enough people to allow the trip to go ahead. In the unlikely event of the trip being undersubscribed we will postpone it and return your deposit. Cancellation charges and extra info can be found in TERMS & CONDITIONS
The team
Josh Christopherson
Senior Instructor. ISA 2 Surf coach, ASI 3 SUP. He was 4th in the European championships representing Scotland in Bodyboard. Teaching surfing for more than 17 years and currently living in south Andalusia. He is a fluent Spanish speaker and ready to guide you in Spain.
Davide Montavani
Senior instructor. ASI level 2 surf instructor. Speaks Italian, Spanish & English. He has a lovely approach to teaching - professional, fun and educational. He has taught in Australia, New Zealand and Scotland. He's an ambassador of healthy eating, well being and loves the environment. Plus he is really down to earth!
Oisin Strachan
Senior Instructor. ASI level 1 surf instructor. Oisin is so enthusiastic in lessons and creates a wonderful relaxed vibe. He also speaks Spanish to help thing run smoothly.
Delia Porras
Administrator & chef. In charge of the Spanish side of things, liaising with other business, agencies, authorities and the like so you don’t have to. She will also look after our guests in keeping with the famous Spanish hospitality tradition.

"The Coast of Light trip was awesome! Josh and Davide are superb, they are both really passionate about surfing and supporting you to learn as much as possible to become an independent surfer. On top of being awesome surfers they were both great company and made the trip a lot of fun for us all. This is by far the best surf trip I've been on it was really well organised, great communication from Josh and Delia before the trip, a well planned schedule of surfing for the week, the accommodation was lovely and Delia's cooking was amazing!
